In an effort to bring local servers together and to help voice her concerns when her aunt was diagnosis with breast cancer in November 2001, Carlene created a campaign called 'Servers for a Cure'. A series of fundraising events that would help fund the BC Cancer Foundation in finding a cure.
"My Aunty Linda has become the strongest and bravest woman that has ever influenced my life. Her strength and power to survive has empowered me in my life more than she'll ever know... and because of her I will fight until the cure is found."
Carlene's passion and commitment to this cause is truly inspired by her Aunty Linda and all the other women who are fighting for their lives; and in turn Carlene is inspiring all of those around her.
Over the last 4 years we have raised over $35,000 for the fight against breast cancer.
